If the age of
Falling Mass Impact Tester is too long, it will cause some common faults. Today, I will explain to you about the common faults encountered:
1. When performing the tensile test, the sample fracture is always broken on both sides.
2. The dial indicator has poor sensitivity and the pendulum position is not normal. The
Falling Mass Impact Tester is not allowed to be vertically marked.
3. The hammer return is not normal, and it is fast and slow. The passive needle does not stop well at any position and does not coincide with the main needle.

4. When loading, the oil system is seriously leaking or the tubing is broken.
5. After the sample breaks, the pendulum quickly falls back, causing an impact.
